Design and Features

The Brio and Magic Mountain POU Water Pyramid Dispenser is a water dispenser that clearly has spared no expense. As soon as you look at it, you will see that this is a beautifully designed unit that really stands out. While some water dispensers will unfortunately be something of an eyesore in your home, this model is actually an asset to nearly any décor.

Appearance

This is thanks to several things: for one, it is made from beautiful, light-catching stainless steel. At the same time, it utilizes a tapered design, starting wide at the base and then getting narrower toward the top. This is a much more striking shape and one that is really quite interesting. The design is also ‘finger print proof’. That means it will stay looking new and beautiful at all times, rather than looking old and tarnished.

Another great feature of the Brio and Magic Mountain POU Water Pyramid Dispenser in terms of design is that it is bottleless. That means no ugly, plastic bottle sitting at the top of the unit. The reservoir is interior and therefore invisible to all extents and purposes. It will also connect to a waterline, giving you a near limitless supply of water should you need it.

That’s the design, but thankfully the actual features of this unit are also just as impressive.

Hot And Cold Water Capabilities

This dispenser doesn’t just hold water but also provides you with three very useful functions. For one, it can provide hot or cold water. At the same time, it is also a very effective multi-stage filtration system.

Being able to provide hot or cold water is a very useful feature. This also comes with a thermostat that you can use to ensure the water is always the exact temperature you need it.

The filtration is what’s really impressive here though. You’ll be able to use this to drink much cleaner and healthier water. That means no toxins, no heavy metals, no bacteria etc.

Water Filtration

And as though this wasn’t all enough already, the Brio and Magic Mountain POU Water Pyramid Dispenser actually features one of the most powerful and impressive water filters on the market. That’s because it uses both a carbon filter and a reverse osmosis system. The filter means that activated charcoal will help to trap any unwanted elements from your water as it passes through. Activated charcoal is charcoal with added oxygen that is highly porous. These microscopic pores technically add miles of additional surface area to the material, which in turn is enough to catch pretty much any tiny elements inside.

At the same time though, there is also a reverse osmosis filter built-in. This is one of the more advanced forms of filtration, which works by forcing the water through an almost impenetrable membrane. As this happens, it collects even more microscopic elements.

Both of these systems are around 99% effective but they each have strengths and weaknesses. When you combine the two together though, it makes for a highly advanced filtration system. In short, this is a water dispenser that is actually as effective as the most powerful dedicated filters.

The filter carries a huge amount of water too at 1,500 gallons. That means you can drink from it for a long amount of time with no need for refills etc. Convenient health is the best kind!

Pros

  • Looks futuristic and has an exceptional design
  • Has a good filtration system in place
  • Has a good water capacity
  • Maintains good hot and cold water temperatures
  • Industry-leading 10 year warranty
  • Great price to value ratio
  • Premium materials used all around

Cons

  • Can seem bulky
  • Doesn’t have an ice maker
